I moved from NH and haven't found a good chinese food that does it correctly. That was until I came here. I would give more stars if I could. First place I've found in Florida that can cook fried rice correctly. Everything I've tried is juicy, tender, and well prepared in a timely manner. A million thanks and keep it up.

Called here for a takeout order. I tried to order the cold sesame noodles but they said they don't sell that anymore and I must have been looking at an old menu. Real disappointment because I was looking forward to getting that. I ended up ordering eggrolls and chicken soup. The eggrolls were excellent. Chicken soup was inedible. It was like they dumped a bag of sugar into it. All I tasted was sugar. Bad.

Quality and taste of the food, 9 out of 10. The place is absolutely clean, you could eat off the floor. This is essentially a take-out joint with four little tables on which you can eat your take-out if for some reason you don't want to take it home. Service was fast, food was tasty, definitely a go-to choice for Chinese.

Yummy and tasty. Their dinner meals can feed two people and delivery is great as well. They don't deprive you on the meat. You can see and taste the shrimp in their shrimp fried rice. Compared to the ones around, this is the best Chinese food in this town. Before trying them I had given up on Chinese food. Thanks to my friend Ellen for recommending them. Yum!

Upfront disclaimers: I've only eaten here once; I rate places against other places of their type, so a five star rating for a sandwich shop, for example, is possible. There aren't a lot of food choices near Seminole State College's Sanford/Lake Mary campus. This tiny Chinese takeout is in a small shopping plaza at the corner of Weldon and 17-92, sandwiched between Subway and Tutto Bene, an Italian eatery I will have to get to. When a coworker was kind enough to give me a spring roll from China Star I was intrigued. It was light, crispy, and delicious. So I stopped in for lunch yesterday, 9/16/2011. It's a small shop indistinguishable from many of its type by appearance. Four tables, small counter, visible kitchen. What sets it apart is the quality of the food. I ordered from the $5.95 lunch menu, selecting Szechuan Shrimp with Hot and Sour soup as my option (choice of soup, egg roll, or can of soda). I also ordered a Spring Roll with Shrimp as an extra. Total with tax, under eight dollars. The soup was light and fresh tasting, not that overcooked gelatinous mess I've had at too many other places. The shrimp were large and accompanied by very crisp veggies (broccoli, baby corn, pea pods, carrots, onions, mushrooms) in a light, flavorful, but not too spicy sauce. It was very yummy. The main dish was served with a giant helping of pork fried rice with peas, carrots, egg, all the things you want in a fried rice dish. This was not cafeteria-style steamtable Chinese food! It was fresh, flavorful and delicious. The spring roll was crisp, flaky, and savory, although until the last bite I was wondering where the shrimp was. I found one towards the end. If their other dishes are made with as much care and quality ingredients as the lunch I had, this place is a keeper. No ambience to speak of. May be best though of as a takeout delight. Try it if you're in the neighborhood.

Just moved to the area and have to give rave reviews to this establishment. We tried another Chinese restaurant the weekend we were moving in and ended up very disappointed. So, when the craving hit us tonight we went searching for something better and we hit it here. We stopped in to have a look around and grab a menu. Very clean and appealing. As soon as we found out they deliver we decided to wait and order when we were ready to eat freshly cooked and hot. Delivery was quick and the food was fantastic! Fresh, and fantastic flavor. By far the best Chinese we have had ever! Everything was on point and we are now dedicated patrons to China Star. Played it safe tonight with familiar dishes but feel very comfortable to explore the menu and try everything!

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
